A yoga practice to promote healing after loss, providing a safe space to move through grief and find release in the areas of our bodies where we hold pain from loss.
The session will provide an opportunity to connect mind and body with the breath, to bring participants into the present moment and help them to find headspace and peace after loss.
The session will include breathwork, opening meditation, gentle yoga postures in a Yin style (holding poses) and final meditation/relaxation.
Session led by Nicky Clarke, a local yoga teacher with 20 years experience who has used yoga techniques to help her own personal grieving experience. Recommended for over 16s. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. We have yoga mats but you may prefer to bring your own, and a blanket. Parking is free in the Charterhouse car park when you attend this event. Supported by National Lottery players, with funding from by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund.
